Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT)
The CCENT certification is the starting point to a career in networking, as it is the most basic Cisco certification level. By completing CCENT training, you will gain practical expertise that is needed for entry-level network support roles. CCENT training covers networking essentials, WAN technologies, underlying security and wireless approaches, routing and switching fundamentals, and configuring simple networks. By becoming a CCENT, you will be able to install, administer, and troubleshoot a small enterprise branch network.
CCENT Certification training is the first step towards any of the following Associates level certifications:
CCNA Routing and Switching
Exams and Recommended training for this certification
CCENT Exam 100-105 (ICND1)
NOTE: Updated ICND1, ICND2, and CCNA Composite exams can be applied towards the achievement of several Cisco associate-level certifications.
The CCENT certification is valid for three years, at such time you will need to recertify. For detailed information, view the recertification policy for the CCENT certification program.
